Welcome to Hummingbird Services. Nothing has changed - I'm still the same Hummingbird Services that I've been since 1993. Steve is still an Apple Computer consultant and Web 2.0 designer. Not to say that he hasn't made some major strategic changes elsewhere! Over the years, I've developed a strong aversion to long-ish domain names, and "hummingbirdservices.ca" certainly falls into this domain, pardon the pun. The URL is simply too long for some folks to easily remember, and what do hummingbirds have to do with flying squirrels anyway?  In the "early days" up until Apple Computer became the computer of choice, I exclusively serviced graphic houses, law firms and marketing & advertising concerns. The creative types, you could say. The hummingbird logo was meant to infer its traits - colourful (a bright personality), fast and efficient with my client's computer-based needs for small to medium sized businesses. All my computer clients are what I would call "legacy clients", as a lot of my time and energy is devoted to getting this unique but effective form of nature edutainment climb the tree and glide. Seeing the trees for the forest: My licence plate has been FLYNSQRL for 10 years. Hmmm. I trademarked the name "FLYNSQRL" in the spring of 2011. Then I obtained the website domains FLYNSQRL.com and FLYNSQRL.ca, and began work on building a "Web 2.0" site that would easily and seamlessly serve required information to both clients and prospective clients. This satic content of this website, (flynsqrl.ca), is unfinished but filling up nicely. Part of the site will always be in a state of flux, as I will continue to write how I see things in FLYNSQRL™ Steve's (b)Log. Every so often I will write content for the "Stories From The Forest" sub-section. I invite you to click the FLYNSQRL.ca  banner below, and give our fledgling website a good workout.
